How to Draw Comic Book Characters
If you have a love for comics, you’ll want to learn how to draw comic book characters. Drawing these characters requires a little bit of talent, and a lot of determination. There are some steps you’ll need to follow.
1. Get some paper that is slightly see through. This paper will allow you to trace the characters you love from comics you already own. If you copy the style of characters you’re attracted to, you’ll be able to put your own spin on them in the future.

These books will take you step by step and show you what it takes to draw characters that will grab the attention of your reader. Make sure to check the reviews of these books as some come more highly recommended than others.
3. Have someone review your work. Your drawings and characters may be very appealing to you, but it won’t get you very far if it’s not appealing to others. Ask friends and family to take a look at what you’ve created. Even if they don’t read comic books, they can give you some friendly tips on what looks good and what needs to change.
Of course, finding a friend who’s as obsessed with comics as you are is a great idea as well. Nobody knows how to draw comic book characters better than the fans themselves.
4. If you find yourself struggling to draw anything that even resembles a person or character, you may need to take a drawing class. We’re not all born with the natural talent it takes to draw great characters.
Many art teachers say that drawing is a skill you can learn! This is a welcome revelation if you don’t think you have any artistic talent.
